Flip the script: Powering worker participation in the design and implementation of technology.
What role should employees have in the design and implementation of workplace technologies?
Our second SEISMEC Online Workshop: “Flip the Script: Powering Worker Participation in the Design and Implementation of Technology” delved into the SEISMEC approach to strengthening worker involvement in the adoption of technological solutions in the workplace.
This time, the agenda featured an in-depth presentation on worker participation in technology design and implementation, an introduction to the AGILE Guidebook, and a set of interactive, scenario-based exercises that encouraged hands-on engagement with practical challenges. The speakers from Erasmus University Rotterdam, Chantal Ho, Vladimer Kobayashi, and Veronika Bak, contributed valuable perspectives to the discussions and activities with their presentations, as well as Laura Lămurean from Transilvania IT Cluster, who served as an excellent moderator.
This SEISMEC Online Workshop explored how workers can move from passive users to active shapers of the technologies they use every day, through co-design, the AGILE Guidebook, and practical, scenario-based exercises.
